Ok then … Boobookachoo are a small designer T-shirt shop based in the Welsh hills who are inspired by imagination, popular culture, and the wilderness surrounding our homes. We like to think our T-shirt designs are very original, bold and colourful, and are designed to make you as happy wearing them as we are designing them! That’s the thought behind our design mantra:

Having studied in London, with Wales as a sort of spiritual home, our designs show an emphasis on human design, language and natural influences. Our aim is to produce clothes that will appeal to city dwellers and village bumpkins alike. We started off designing and selling original designer T-shirts, but now we design and sell hoodies, canvas bags, badges and much more… in fact why don’t you check out our new line of Nu Rave hoodies.
Boobookachoo Origins
The clothing designed through Boobookachoo is an experimental mix of powerful colours and ideas. Essentially the designs that Boobookachoo emanates are bold fun and often abstract but usually with an intent or meaning behind them. This may be one reason why whilst looking through Boobookachoo you may stumble across things which seem familiar, and the next second see something completely abstract and unusual. This is how it is intended. Mashing together cultural familiarities such as regional language with crazy new ideas which people tend not to expect. Boobookachoo is never afraid to try new things.
This site intends to create an online community where design and music interplays. Where bands can promote themselves through good artwork and merchandise and where people can find a selection of cool designer T shirts, hoodies, bags & badges. The inspiration for the name came partly from our links to music through the musician scheme set up for aspiring young musicians who want good design to be represented by. Another reason for the name came about purely because we wanted to allude to an idea of a design and musically orientated culture... Boobookachoo culture!
